Stuart Jamieson is currently an Honours Candidate of The Geocoastal Research Group at The University of Sydney, Australia. He is part of a team investigating riverbank collapse on the lower River Murray. His research involves investigating the causes behind riverbank collapses at Woodlane Reserve, with particular focus on the role backwater played in collapses at this site. His research also involves analysing channel-bottom sediment of the lower River Murray to increase the understanding of the river’s geomorphic evolution.
His supervisors are A/Prof Tom Hubble and Dr Samantha Clarke.
