The GRG team, including collaborator Professor Helen McGregor (UOW), were fortunate to be invited to present some research highlights at a “Meet the Scientists” event at Wenona School for students and parents. This was following on from a really fantastic trip to One Tree Island we did together late year with 20 highschool students from the School as part of their 2022 Wenona STEM Tour. The event involved some great presentations and then a panel discussion/Q&A that covered a variety of topics from global climate change, the future of coral reef systems and different study and career pathways in marine science. It was wonderful to meet the incredibly enthusiastic students and their parents.
