One Tree Island Research Station is the definition of a pristine reef, located within the remote reaches of the Great Barrier Reef.

GRG works closely with the University of Sydney’s research station, which has operated the research only station since 1974 and is licensed to teach limited senior undergraduate and postgraduate students since 2005.
