Very excited to finally be in Bremen, Germany at the IODP core repository where we will spend the next month splitting, describing and sub sampling (as well as lots of report writing!) the beautiful, fossil reef cores that we collected late last year offshore Hawaii. Should be great fun and I’ll try to post some highlights along the way. You can also follow with our progress at the official X389 blog site.
