Hi All, we are now 2 weeks into the Onshore Science Party, We are working our through the cores from drowned reefs from different times periods and locations around the Big Island. The differences in lithologies, framework types, reef biota are really spectacular, including numerous intervals dominated by well preserved massive corals well suited for high resolution geochemical proxy work by the X389 paleoclimate team.
