This week my research has made a guest appearance on AGU Blogosphere’s The Landslide Blog run by Professor Dave Petley. Dave is a landslide expert and our international collaborator on this research project, and came to visit us on the Murray during fieldwork and in Sydney earlier this year. Dave has recently moved from the University of Durham in the UK as the Wilson Chair in Hazard and Risk, to take up a position as Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise) at the University of East Anglia. I’ll be visiting him in early December prior to attending the AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco. – EDC
