After a wonderful and heartfelt opening by our very own Assoc. Prof. Ana Vila Concejo, Prof. Andy Short has given a excellent overview of the seminal work done by the former Coastal Studies Unit at Usyd. A fantastic way to set the context for the rest of the symposium.
