Yesterday Earthbyte & the GRG hosted a delegation of Chinese scientists. The purpose of the visit was to discuss future scientific collaborations between our school and several institutions in China. It was a great day filled with interesting research talks from all.

We also managed to squeeze in a brief tour of the GeoReef lab where GRG PhD candidate Kelsey Sanborn and I were able show off some of the beautiful fossil coral reef cores that the team are working on. The discussions went really well and we look forward to building a strong scientific partnership in the future.
